This close collaborations between musicians and dancers forms a strong foundation for the quality and artistic character of the group.
The orchestra's repertoire is carefully matched to the dances performed during shows and folk balls. In edition, the orchestra had its own varied repertoire, adding extra colour, ambience and depth to its musical performances.

The orchestra has a warm and distinctive sound, created through a carefully balanced combination of instruments. The accordion forms the heart of the ensemble, while the violin and flute add richness and atmosphere to the music.
The rhythmic and harmonic foundation is further strengthened by the guitar and double bass, which together provide stability, dynamism, and strong support for the dances. Thanks to this blend of instruments, the orchestra creates a lively and balanced musical ensemble in which every instrument has its own role, yet all come together in one harmonious sound.
The musical arrangements are developed entirely in-house by the musical director, Hannelore Vandenbussche.
Each arrangement is carefully tailored to the instrumentation and possibilities of the different instruments, resulting in a distinctive and recognizable orchestral sound that perfectly reflects the identity of Die boose.
